Tim Hightower Re-Signs with the Washington…

It appears that running back Tim Hightower will be rejoining the Washington Redskins this season. Though they are unconfirmed reports at this time, Hightower did tweet out a picture of himself in a Redskins hat with the line “I’m baaaaaaaack,” and Rotoworld.com published a report saying the running back has re-signed with the team. The terms of the deal are not available at this point.

Redskins sign Adam Gettis, their fifth-round pick

The Washington Redskins on Saturday signed fifth-round draft pick Adam Gettis, the team announced. Gettis, whom the team selected out of Iowa, signed his contract a day after the team inked seventh-rounders Jordan Bernstine and Richard Crawford, who were the first two draft picks signed to deals. The 6-foot-2, 293-pound Gettis last fall earned second-team All-Big Ten honors.
